A little clarity before you book.
Still wondering about something? Zoey is happy to help you choose a thoughtful starting point.
Ask Zoey a questionWhat type of massage should I book first?
If pain, a specific restriction, or a recurring tension pattern is your main concern, Trigger Point Therapy is often a useful place to start. Choose Swedish Massage when relaxation and a whole-body reset are the priority. If you are unsure, book the service that feels closest and share your goals before the session.
Does Trigger Point Therapy hurt?
It can feel focused and intense, but it should never feel punishing. Zoey checks in, adapts pressure, and works with your body's response. Clear communication is part of the treatment.
What are trigger points?
Trigger points are tight, sensitive areas within a muscle that can cause localized or referred pain. Through targeted pressure and therapeutic techniques, trigger point therapy helps release tension, improve mobility, and restore healthier muscle function.
Should I book 60 or 90 minutes?
Sixty minutes works well for one focused area or a shorter relaxation session. Ninety minutes gives more room for assessment, connected patterns, multiple areas, or a full-body restorative experience.
Do you offer mobile massage?
Yes. Zoey brings the massage table, linens, music, and professional equipment to your home. Mobile sessions currently start at $150.
What areas do you serve?
In-office sessions are offered in Midtown Sacramento at 2528 I Street. Mobile massage is available throughout the Greater Sacramento area; reach out to confirm travel availability for your address.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever feels comfortable. You will have privacy to undress only to your comfort level, and professional draping is used throughout the session. Movement assessment, when useful, can often begin in the clothes you arrive in.
Can massage help with chronic pain?
Massage may help reduce muscular tension, improve comfortable movement, and support relaxation for some people with chronic pain. It does not diagnose or cure medical conditions, and results vary.
Do you work with post-surgical clients?
Yes, when massage is appropriate and your healthcare provider has cleared it. Please share your procedure, timing, restrictions, and provider guidance before booking so the session can be planned safely.
How often should I come in?
It depends on your goals, response, schedule, and budget. Some clients begin with closer-together sessions and then move to maintenance care; Zoey can offer a practical recommendation after learning how your body responds.
